The people of Bradford District have good mental wellbeing
Mental health issues will affect about 155,000 people in our district at some point during a person‘s life, with approximately 6,200 people being in need of, and in contact with specialist mental health services at any given time.
This chapter looks at a variety of areas of mental health and wellbeing, including the determinants and epidemiology of mental health, the links between mental and physical health, and children‘s mental health in Bradford District.
